There was a murder at our Buckeye Library almost twenty years ago. And the other day I saw on the news that the death penalty was thrown out after all this time. This really makes me mad. Here is a link to the news story.Appeals panel tosses Arizona man's death sentence
It was a very brutal murder and attempted rape of our librarian Kay Blanton, she was stabbed almost 40 times. I was there at the library earlier that day. She was working all alone. And I was going to go back after work. But I went home and took a nap instead or I would have been there during the time of this attack.
She was a very very nice person and didn't deserve to die like this! My heart goes out to her family!
