I just finished reading "The boy who came back from heaven" it is a true story about a little boy who was seriously injured in a car accident. What God is doing in Alex Malarkey's life is amazing. I had not heard his story before this book. If you have not heard about Alex check out his families website at prayforalex.com

Mini Me

My mom was fixing corn for dinner one night while I was in NM and she found this corn with a mini me attached. We had never seen one like this before, have you?

Knee Update~

Knee update: I got to see my x-rays yesterday. My Dr. did an amazing job! I didn't have a normal total knee replacement because my RA had destroyed my joint so bad, my doctor said my bones were like butter, there was nothing to attached the new joint too so he had to put a bar up in the bone to stabilize the joint. It works great and I am so thankful I can walk normal again! Dr. Cercek is the best!

Home~

I got home last night. I had a great visit with my parents in NM. Dad had a great week and his dialysis went well. But today he had a set-back with a infection, so he is now back in the hospital. I am wishing I was there again! Please keep my dad in prayer!

Life~

I haven't left on my trip yet. I am hoping on Tuesday. My sister is in town home shopping and I am going to go back with her. It has been over a year since I have seen my dad and with his recent health issues I need/want to spend as much time with him as possible.
This last week I had my youngest grandson Nicholas with me a few days. I am trying to get back in the swing of things since my surgery. It has now been over a month since my knee was replaced. I am doing good but had a bit of a set-back this last couple of days. Looks like I have a little infection setting in Doc called me in some strong antibiotics. Monday I go see him, hope all will be better so I can go on my trip. :)
I took this picture of Nicky one morning. He was still tired and a bit grumpy in his pj's. I couldn't resist taking his picture. He is trying to say "Grandma" now it sounds more like gamo, so cute and priceless!
