It's my Birthday

Today is my birthday. I know April Fools! If I had a dollar for every time someone said I must be a fool since I was born on Fools Day. At least being born on April Fools, almost everyone remembers my birthday!

In a way I fooled my parents on April Fools, I was their 3rd daughter. They were hoping to get a boy. April Fool's I am another girl.! They never got that boy. I am the baby. Here is a picture of me taken when I was about 18 months old.

This picture I was about 3 years old. Thank goodness I still don't have that under bite anymore!

Happy 49th Birthday to me! I think I am going to start lying about my age. I could get away with it, April Fools.

Happy Birthday Gloria

Today is my sister Gloria's birthday. Above is a picture of me and my sisters taken in 1964. Gloria on the left, me in the center and Cindey on the right.

Here is a picture taken in Oct 2008, at our family reunion. Gloria on the left, Cindey center and me on the right. I miss seeing my sisters daily, they live in New Mexico and I'm in Arizona. I wish we could get together more often.

Jeremy's B-Day

My son Jeremy turned 29 today. He is my baby and I can't believe he is 29. Where has all the time gone. Below is a picture of us when he was 3 years old. He is my little smiley boy!


I tried to take his picture today, but he hide behind Precious.

I made him strawberry cake with chocolate icing. I have never made this combo before, but it was just like chocolate covered strawberries. Yummy!
