My nephew's wife killed this spider in their garage. They live by the San Tan Mountain range in Queen Creek AZ. They were told it was a camel spider. I was born and raised here in Arizona and I have never seen this spider before. Just looking at it scares me! I asked my dad who worked outside in the AZ desert for over 18 years if he has ever seen one and he had not. Where did this spider come from? If anyone has seen a spider like this let me know where?

Spider

I am sure that if I ever visit your part of the world I would freak out about ANY spider. This one looks scary. I hope you find out what it is and if there's need for panic!

Yuck and no! I hope I never do!!
Yuck! That is one ugly bug. I have been here since 1974 and have never seen anything like that. That is scary!
