Three years ago today Dave passed away suddenly of a heart attack at the young age of 45.
I can't believe it has been that long. I still miss him even though I am sure he is in a better place. The picture above is of him working on a scrapper, I met him when he was on this job. He loved his work, he always joked that it was the only thing he did right! He was excellent on any construction equipment!
This is my favorite picture of us. He didn't like this picture. I think it was because he had mischievous eyes in this picture, but that is why I love it. I wonder what he was thinking when his friend took this picture!
I will never forget you Dave, life with you was never a dull moment.

When they say "life is unpredictable" they really mean it. I am sure he is with you still in many ways..... What a handsome man.

I really seem to have the most uncanny knack of visiting you when you are commemorating a very significant day. I really don't know how I manage it Cherrie, something just draws me over here!
This must be an incredibly difficult time for you...to lose your beloved husband at such an early age seems so terribly unfair...you looked such a lovely happy couple. I'm sure though that those beautiful grandchildren I just saw on a previous post must be a tremendous comfort to you as I'm sure your children are too of course.
