Virtual Vacation ~ Arizona

We are starting at the magnificent Grand Canyon. So pretty! I get a little scared so close to the edge.

There is still a little snow on the San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff.

Lets go hunt for Gold in the Superstition Mountains.

There's gold in them there hills. Lost Dutchman mine!

Phoenix at night! The Valley of the Sun has gotten so much bigger then the Phoenix of my youth!

Last stop Tombstone Arizona to watch a old time gun fight!

Boothill were some of the legends of the old west are buried.

Tombstone back in 1881. I am so glad I didn't live during this time.

Where to next? I am thinking Washington State. I need somewhere cooler than AZ.

I agree although today Arizona is so beautiful. I think I worked as a chamber maid in a very old and cold castle in my former life..LOL

I really wanted to go here but just recently I have been hearing tales of tarantulas and scorpions so now I think I'll give it a miss! It's a stunning place though.

Bernie that's funny!
Lindsay we have rattlesnakes also! I hate scorpions. I got stung by one it hurt like **** and my thumb was numb for 2 months after. I have never seen a Tarantulas here, just at the pet stores! lol
