Happy 1st Birthday Nicholas

Today was Nicky's 1st Birthday. We had his party at Peter Piper Pizza.

He was a little tired because Mommy and Daddy woke him up from his nap.

He put his hand in his cake! Yum!

Twinkling Lights

I love sitting in the early morning, drinking a cup of coffee with all the lights off except the twinkling Christmas tree lights. It is so calming sitting there planning my day. Listening to the wind chimes outside making natures music with the birds chirping along.

Books

My goal of 100 books for the year is getting closer. I am at 86 books now and counting! Will I make it? I don't know, still have lots to do before Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my family and friends!

New Floors ~ Thankful Thursday

Well my family came and installed my new laminate floor in the dinning room, living room and ceramic tile in the kitchen. Needless to say I love them. I didn't know that they also was painting the walls. I picked the color and they did everything else.

I have the absolute best family. I gave money to my brother-in-law but at the end of all the work he gave it back to me. I am so thankful to them all for all the hard work and effort they did for me. I know I am loved!

I just have my little home but boy am I thankful for it. And now I am even proud of the way it looks.

A great big THANK YOU to my family and a big THANK YOU to GOD for giving me this family!

Family

I am getting excited, my sisters are coming for a visit! It is Nascar time, and my sister's and brother-in-laws will be here for a week! On Monday my brother-in-laws are going to install a new laminate Oak flooring for me! I am so looking forward to visiting with them and also for the new floor!

Arizona Cardinals

Josh, Rosemary and Nicholas are sporting their Cardinal wear in support of the Arizona Cardinals. Nicky looks so cute!

I finished reading Kurt & Brenda Warner's book "First Things First: The Rules of Being a Warner". I have to say I really enjoyed this book and I am very impressed with the Warner's.

They do a lot of charity work and they really seems to enjoy using it as a teaching tool for their children. Way to go parents!

Three years ago today!

Three years ago today Dave passed away suddenly of a heart attack at the young age of 45.
I can't believe it has been that long. I still miss him even though I am sure he is in a better place. The picture above is of him working on a scrapper, I met him when he was on this job. He loved his work, he always joked that it was the only thing he did right! He was excellent on any construction equipment!

This is my favorite picture of us. He didn't like this picture. I think it was because he had mischievous eyes in this picture, but that is why I love it. I wonder what he was thinking when his friend took this picture!

I will never forget you Dave, life with you was never a dull moment.

Blood Pressure

My blood pressure is up, way to high! Dr. started me on a new medicine. I hope it works. I have not be feeling to good!
