Bird Feeling

I may have to quit feeling the birds in my backyard! I have three stray cats that are plotting on my birdies! This morning when I opened my curtains in my bedroom there was a cat about to jump one of the birds. I knocked on the window and it distracted him from succeeding! Thank God! I don't want to help make the birds a meal. I am not sure what to do!

I know what you mean. Sometimes I have cardinal feathers left at the door. My two cats like me to see what they have been up to. The other day it was frog parts. There was only one frog leg...I guess they wanted to share.
Sorry to hear about your infection. Hope all is on the mend.

Saw your comment on Coffee, Tea, Books and Me and thought I'd stop by for a minute.

We're 6 hours from the nearest beach and I love the ocean, too. So, I did kind of a substitute thing: from both my own photos and some I downloaded from the internet, I set up a file of beach photos to run as a screensaver. At the same time, I have a Playlist.com beach list that is the sounds of gentle waves rolling in on the shore.

Of course it's not as good as actually being there, but sometimes it kind of helps satisfy that desire for a vacation.

Sorry about the trouble with the cats, but I loved the vintage-looking photo you used.

thanks for popping by my blog, and I hope your teeth situation went well.. I'm about to look at some implants or caps, so you can relate to my stress a little I spose!

Awe! I love our little birdies too. I am a kitty lover like no other but I sure wish folks would keep their kitties inside.

There is no easy answer for the cats going after the birds, as it is the cycle of life. With that said, it sure doesn't make me feel any better. I so love the birdies.

...we have a few neighborhood cats playing havoc with our birds too. I don't know what to do about them. They are driving my indoor cat nuts as well...
