My Dad and Farrah Fawcett

You are asking yourself what does my Dad and Farrah Fawcett have in common. Nothing at all. So more about Farrah in a minute. This is the picture my sister texted me of my Dad on Father's Day. He looks so amazing since I saw him last October.

I talked to Dad last night and again this morning. He telling me he's so tired and doesn't know how much longer he will be here, He says he can't wait to get to Heaven because he will have his perfect body. I want to tell him please Daddy hold on a little longer I will be coming to visit next month. But I don't say this because I know I will start crying. Like I am crying now. So I change the subject to my sister, because today is her birthday. I am Daddy's little girl. I would miss him. I know he's tired he has to go 3 days a week to dialysis but I want him around longer.

So enough about this crying stuff

So on to Farrah. I just finish reading Ryan O'Neal book on Farrah. I really enjoyed reading about their love affair that lasted many years. They were the "golden couple" both so beautiful. I was a teenager in the 70's and I so wanted to have her hair. I think everyone has their one true love and I thinks she was his and he was her's. I read Ryan's book first then I read Farrah's close friend Alana Stewart's.

I absolutely loved Alana's book. This is a true friendship, the greatest love you can give to a friend. She basically put her life on hold to be with Farrah. I know I said no more crying stuff but this book did make me cry.
I highly recommend Alana's book it is so worth reading. I want to be this kind of friend.

I have not read either book, but it was sad when Farrah died. I can't imagine how it would feel to loose the love of your life - Mine is here with me now, and I never want to live life without him!

So glad you shared this pic of your dad. I can see you in him.
I pray you do honey get to see him again. Now you got me crying. lol
You know I love it when you share books with us. I just wish I had the money to buy you a nook so we could share them on our nooks.
If I ever get extra money I am getting you one.
Will add this book to my list.
I met Farrah through a sister-in-law of mine. Farrah as you know was a Houston girl so she went to the doctor where my sl worked for years. I finally managed to be in Houston the day of her appointment.
She was nothing like you imagined her. Just like me and you. Maybe more teeth than me. haha
Love ya
