Heat Warning!

Excessive heat watch issued for Phoenix area this weekend!

Yes, we are having extra hot temperatures. Today we are expected to reach 110 degrees. I am so sick and tired of this heat!

I can't wait for Fall to come! I am looking forward to the crisp cool air! But I know it is a couple months out for us!

But I can dream about it!

Raggedy Ann and Andy

These are my Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls from when I was little. You can see they were well played with. I have no ideal what happened to his eyes! Maybe I played doctor on him!

Does anyone know if these dolls can be machine washed? They are so dirty I would like to clean them but I don't want them to fall apart. Any suggestions?

And why don't little girls play with Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls anymore?

We almost got some rain!

These pictures are from Friday night it looked like we where going to get some rain. But....it didn't happen.

There must of been some rain close because I had a rainbow over my home! Now if I could just go get that pot of gold. I would be all set!

My surgery is scheduled for August 27th! I have a date; I am happy! Thank you all for the encouraging comments!

Anxiety~

I caught a picture of this lit' hummer coming in for a drink!

I have anxiety! I have been waiting for over a week for the Surgeon's office to call me back about my surgery. I don't know what is taking so long. I have left messages with no returned calls. I want to get the show on the road. I want to get this surgery over and done with. At this rate it will be September before I get it. I've never had surgery so maybe this is normal. I just feel in limbo! I am hoping I will feel better after I vent! Please pray for me!

Back to School

My two older grand children will be back in school starting Wednesday. I am going to miss them they have kept me company this summer. It will be quiet without them here. I can't believe how early they are starting school this year. It gets earlier and earlier every year. When I was going we didn't start until after Labor Day. This is the first year I was not able to help them buy the school supplies and I feel sad about that. But I am on a fixed income now and I just didn't have any extra this year. I am going to plan better for next year so I can help some. That is another thing that has changed since I went to school. All our supplies were furnished by the school. Oh well I guess that is just one of many things that happened in the good old days! lol
