The Cost of Freedom Tribute

The Cost of Freedom Tribute wall came to my town. I am glad because I know I will never make it to DC to see the original one.
 The bag pipes sounded beautiful

Love the way the sun was behind the flag. I wish I could have got it behind the American Flag but my camera is not that fast at taking pictures.

Sarah Palin was the guest speaker. I thought she did great.

The wall! All the names just overwhelm you!

They gave their all for freedom!

After it was all over Sarah Palin stayed & took pictures with all that wanted too :)

Missing my Dad

I haven't been on here for a while a lot going on in my world. My dear loving Dad passed away in March. I am so glad he is no longer in pain but I miss him so much. He was a great Dad to my sisters and I. I am thankful I got to spend two weeks with him and Mom in January but I didn't know it would be the last time I would see him alive. Or I would have hugged and kissed him more.

Also in March I almost lost my youngest son Jeremy to cirrohsis of his liver. His liver was in failure. My pastor and others came in to hospital to pray over him. The next day he stablized. He had only been a drinker for the last five years. He has now been sober for two months. I am proud he has made this choice to quit drinking. His liver is in real bad shape but his doctors are pleased with his process. He is not able to work so the financial burden has fallen on me.

Please keep my family in prayer 2013 has been a hard year for us. Losing my brother - in - law, my dad and then this with Jeremy is almost to much. Thank you!

My Heart is Breaking~

My brother-in-law Richard (Dick) Martinelli passed away suddenly on Jan 8th. My heart is breaking for my sister Cindey. A little over 4 years ago they lost their oldest daughter Angela. And about 5 years ago Cindey had breast cancer. I just think she has had enough suffering. Anyone who happens to read this please pray for her.
Richard was going to retire in May. They were going to move back to Arizona. She will probably move back sooner now. I will love having her closer to me but I sure wish Richard would be with her. Also my other sister Gloria & her husband Eddie, our Mom & Dad still live in NM. I know they are going to miss her so much.
We had just went on a trip to Tombstone and he seemed fine. We were planning another trip after they moved back to AZ.
My Dad's health has went down so much in the last month. I am afraid we will be losing him soon. He has bounced back so many times, we are praying he will this time too!

Here is a link to a video of Richard being silly. What he does best. Love you Richard, we will sure miss you!

My Trip to Tombstone AZ

I was born and raised in Arizona but had never been to Tombstone. It has been on mine and my sister's bucket list for a while now. So finally last week my sister Cindey her husband Dick, my son Jeremy and myself when to Tombstone. We really had fun but wish we had more time to explore this interesting town. We started at Boothill Graveyard.

These graves are the most famous ones because they were the men who died from the shootout at OK Corral. (Which really wasn't at OK Corral but was real close)

Next stop was the Bird Cage. Which is why Jeremy wanted to come. See my son is a big fan of Ghost Hunters. They filmed a episode here.

The stage inside the Bird Cage. It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. You can see the uper box seats to the left and right above.

One of the rooms on the bottom floor where the "Ladies" stayed.

Big Nose Kate's Saloon. We had lunch here. It was very good.

The stage inside of Big Nose Kate's. It was small too.

Doc Holiday walking the streets of Tombstone.

This is the site of the famous gunfight at OK Corral. It was behind the actual corral area, in an alley.

Liquid Diet~

I am so crazy about these two drinks. I could have one for lunch and then one for dinner. And I would be so happy! I have never felt this way about a drink before. I wonder what they put into them that keeps me coming back? lol
Anyone else have something you crave?
