Book Review and Prayer for my Mom

I just finished reading "V is for Vengeance". I loved this book. It makes my list of one of Sue Grafton's best. So if you are looking for a good book this is the one to choose!

On to more serious matters, my Mom found out today she has breast cancer. A lump was found last month in her routine mammogram exam. She had biopsy last Tuesday. Today she got the results it is cancer, it's real small about 4mm. She has a chose of having a lumpectomy or mastectomy. With chemo or radiations depending if its in her lymph nodes. I am asking prayer for her at this time and also for my dad since he is not in the best of health.

Honey of course I will pray for you mom. I am so sorry to hear this. Be sure and let us know more about her lymph nodes.
When I had my breast cancer they removed all of my lymph nodes under my left arm and then did the lumpectomy. After that I had 8 weeks of chemo. I ask the doctors if my chances were the same if I had a lumpectomy or mastectomy and they said they were sure my chances were the same so I chose the lumpectomy.
You might get your mom to ask the same question.
Thanks for the book review. I should get this for Christi since she likes Grafton.
I am reading Stephen Kings new one about Kennedy being shot. I have not liked any of the latest of Kings books but I can't put this one down. Thank goodness I did not waste my money this time.
Wanted to say hello and to give you heads up on a giveaway I am having.
Hope you can come by and enter.
Love
Maggie

Thanks for visiting my blog. I like your templet. I've thought about putting that one onto mine because I'd like an Arizona background but haven't done it yet. Like purses, I'm always trying to find the best template in the world.

I'm so sorry about your mom. What is it about cancer? Three of my friends and a sister are gone now and I just don't understand why it is prevelent. I hope things work out and she can small that little lump to smitherins. Prayers and thoughts are coming her way.
